It appears as XRP is is more desperate to break out to the bottom of the triangle then to the top, so I'm shorting it again. It all depends on BTC behavior, luck and many other factors. No guarantees that it reaches the target and even does what's shown on the chart. Just an idea I'm using. Happy NY!

May reach $16,800 in a few hours if flag pattern completes as expected. I will try a long entry at 15,500 with target at 16,700 and s/l at 15,150.

Triangles are progressively increasing in size and keep going... I would like to see a 1,300 figure after breakout on top.

Just another pattern I would like to see play out in the next day or two. More likely actions painted with solid lines. The likelihood of upward or downward breakout is equal and we need to be cautious as it approaches the boundaries of the pattern. We are in a triangle as long as the volume is decreasing (blue arrow).

Shape of the currently forming pennant is slightly different on BITFINEX compared to Poloniex and is more substantial because of 10x volume advantage. Tactical plan of attack is the same: breach the $5,000 Psychological Barrier by forming a new pennant around 5K and then break out higher to 5,250-5,300. More likely moves are solid lines.

Short-term goal is to breach all time high, which coincides with a major Psychological Barrier at $5,000. A healthy pennant will break out to form a new pennant which will oscillate around all time high. The most likely moves are solid lines and less likely are dotted lines on the chart. My humble opinion of course.

One of the ways I see it at a larger scale is as a symmetrical triangle. This weekend (Oct-7/Oct-8) is going to be interesting. If we break out on Sat or Sun and close around 4500, there is nothing stopping it for about 3000+ points, which is a rough span of the triangle. Otherwise, we can keep bouncing until November within this triangle area.
