JAKS Resources Bhd. operates as an investment holding company, which engages in the provision of general contracting services for the water works industry. It operates through the following business segments: Manufacturing, Trading, Construction, Property Development and Others. The Manufacturing segment engages in manufacturing pipes. The Trading segment comprise trading of sheet piles, steel bars, mild steel and special pipes, other steel related products, building materials, and supply of products for the water supply industry. The Construction segment provides sub-contracting activities, general contractor, and supplies building materials. The Property Development segment develops residential and commercial properties, and management of shopping mall. The Others segment engages in investment holding activities. The company was founded by Ken Seng Ang in 1987 and is headquartered in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.
