Montagne & Neige Développement SA engages in the development, equipping, and protection of ski resorts, leisure facilities, access roads, and other mountain infrastructure. It operates through the following business divisions: Security and Leisure, and Snowmaking and Ski Lifts. The Security and Leisure division ensures safety against natural hazards such as avalanches in ski areas, sports and tourist sites, road and railways, and industrial mountain sites, offers a range of safety equipment, as well as activities such as tree-climbing, wall-climbing, and go-karting. The Snowmaking and Ski Lifts division provides artificial snowmaking solutions, and offers a range of lifts, chairlifts, and conveyor belts. The company was founded by Xavier Gallot-Lavallée and Ernesto Bassetti on June 21, 2004 and is headquartered in Sainte-Helene-du-Lac, France.
