This is a new version of the classic Volatility Stop originally published in 2014 by admin and written in Pine v1. While the code has evolved, its logic is identical. It is an ATR-based trend detector that can also be used as a stop. It belongs to the same family of indicators as:
• Charles Le Beau's Chandelier Exit,
• Olivier Seban's Super Trend, and
This is a new version of my "Divergences"
Compared to my "Divergences (Pivots)", this is calculated totally different
There are 3 options:
- Stoch RSI
Since this script is very heavy in calculation it is limited in time (= inspired from a script of "Che_Trader")
Also it uses "max_bars_back" (=1000)
Displays horizontal lines that represent support and resistance levels.
You can use it with any symbol and on any timeframe.
Parameter 'Time range' means number of candles in consideration. The beginning of the range is marked with a little violet circle.
The more 'Sensitivity' is, the more levels are displayed.
The Market Mode indicator seeks to identify trends and rebounds by identifying “phases” according to the principles of John Ehlers.
- When the oscillator passes above the top line, the market is in an uptrend.
- When the oscillator goes below the bottom line, the market is in a downtrend.
- Between these two levels, the market is calmer and could rebound in the...
At the start of 2019 i published my first post "Approximating A Least Square Moving Average In Pine", who aimed to provide alternatives calculation of the least squares moving average (LSMA), a moving average who aim to estimate the underlying trend in the price without excessive lag.
The LSMA has the form of a linear regression ax + b where x is a...
Whale: Whale utilizing discounted prices (increasing on-chain volume & decreasing price)
Recovering: Positive momentum in price after potential whale activity
Cycle Volume Support: The transaction volume support during a cycle
What’s the best time to invest?
After institutions make up their mind at low price levels.
How’s on-chain volume related to...
The KDJ indicator is derived from the Stochastic with the one difference being the addition of the J line. This implies that the KDJ indicator has a total of three lines; %K%D%J. The %J is simply put, the difference between the %K and the %D lines, which is similar to the MACD.
The difference between the %J and that of the MACD is that it is plotted as a...
The PSO is a rewired version of a short-period stochastic. Unlike a standard stochastic oscillator, this indicator is normalized to register neutral values at zero while providing greater sensitivity to short-term price moves. This indicator uses a central zero line as a reference point and will oscillate above and below this point as price fluctuates. In...
New Indicator from John F. Ehlers issued in the February 2020 Technical Analysis of Stocks and Commodities article "Reflex: A New Zero-Lag Indicator"
This indicator includes both studies described in the article and intend to significantly reduce the lag of the signal compared to other oscillators.
Reflex for the cycle component and is more sensitive to major...
This script is based heavily on "Support/Resistance Zones x3" by Lij_MC
What I did is went and added alerts for when price breakouts the support line/zone.
You have the options to change if it is based on a zone breakout or a line breakout
You also can choose when it will go off, so for example you want an alert to trigger only between 7am and 8am then you can...
This indicator finds possible points of reversion, you can use it to stack positions and get a good average price for when the price changes direction, it is the trader responsibility to manage the position and make a profit.
This indicator looks for cracks (de-correlation of 2 indicators), what you have to do is simple, first look at the trend in a higher frame, there are many indicators for this, then look for cracks as wide as possible (you can configure the size in the configuration) and that they are not close to important supports / resistances. This indicator can be very useful...
I share this TSL indicator with alert (I use it only for Stocks), the configuration is very simple, you must select if it is a Short or Long operation, time at which the operation was opened,% of the daily ATR for TSL. It also contains:
- Panel Info
That one is an experiment
I was curious to see what a supertrend based on moving average cross could give
How does it work?
Bull event: fast moving average crossing overthe slow moving average
Bear event: fast moving average crossing underthe slow moving average
When the event is triggered, the script will plot the Supertrend as follow
This is based upon Daveatt script
I change the volume to VPT as I see this as more accurate .. the rest is same
Thanks Dave you have the best script here:)
green is bullish
red is bearish
I just wonder if we can filter some bad signals? then it would be much better
Moving averages are perhaps the most popular indicator in technical analysis. But sometimes they're not the easiest to interpret.
This indicator helps you see the trend by coloring the MA based on its direction. It's green when rising and red when falling. Of course, you can easily change that in the Style tab under Settings.
Color MA also lets you select from...
