Tom DeMark Sequential

This is my interpretation of Perl's Tom DeMark Sequential Indicator. (Disclaimer) I make no guarantee to its accurancy or validatiy , however I have made sure as much as I can it is useful by comparing it to existing indicators on here and the examples provided in the book.

This is the most powerful free interpretation of TD Sequential indicator in comparision to everything that is here. I am providing this for free to the community because I have learnt so much and while I am an amature trader, I have worked for IBs for over 10 years and built Algos and HFT systems to Tier 1 banks.

So what does this indicator give you:
  • Define your own Setup Period.
  • Define your own Look Back Period
  • Define your own Countdown period
  • Toggle Price Flip checks
  • Define your own Perl's Proximity
  • Hide all historical values.

Please review and any feedback is welcomed. I am hoping to keep improving this indicator as I progress throught the book.

Hello Sir, is there a guide that you explain how to use this indicator ?
This looks like it represents some serious coding time & effort. Wonderful of you to make it available to the community.

Am I correct about these things? C13 = Combo 13, A13 = Aggressive 13, R = Recycle, but S13 ... I don't know.

Thanks again for your tremendous effort.
Hello, your indicator is very good.. I have one question.. What does it mean, when R appear?
bytetrader l.krcha
@l.krcha, it means the sequential countdown has been recycled.
Hello bytetrader, great works, actually TD sequential is such a difficult indicators, your works might enhanced my decision. I am looking forward to see another useful script that you can created in future. thank you so much for your efforts and generous =D
@ICEKI, thank you for your kind comments (sorry for the late reply)
Great work man, thanks so much for your great work. I've been tried all of it on tradingview but this is far more better than any of it. I wanted to ask about perfected 8 and 9's. Is it possible to switch them on or just calculate by hand?
bytetrader samgold73
Thanks @samgold73 for your kind words. If I understand the question you want the Sequence Period to be 8 and the perfected signal to be on the 8. This can be done by changing the Sequence Period in the setting to 8, the "Perfected" signal will show up on the 8 from then on. If the sequence count is perfected than regardless of the "Sequence Period" defined in the settings it will show up under that. The indicator is very flexible and it is not fixed on the default arguments such as 9 for sequence, 4 for look back & 13 for count down. It gives you the freedom to try different arguments and analyse the results. Hope this helps.
samgold73 bytetrader
@bytetrader, Thanks for the info. But i mean the perfected sign doesn't show up after the candle closes
Great work, thanks a lot!
