Pivot points simply took the high, low, and closing price from the previous period and
divided by 3 to find the pivot . From this pivot , traders would then base their
calculations for three support, and three resistance levels. The calculation for the most
basic flavor of pivot points , known as ‘floor-trader pivots’, along with their support and
resistance levels.

@HPotter,

This works great on intraday charts. Is there anyway I can get the weekly or monthly pivots plotted when viewing the daily chart for example?

Hello,

I know this is a stupid question, but how can I add this to my charts? Haha

Thanks a lot!

HPotter, any way to modify the indicator to customize the data that is included in the calculation. For example, I want to use the indicator for ES futures, and on this platform I can't choose to only include Standard Session data (9:30 am EST to 4:00 PM EST). Anyway to modify the indicator to only include Hi/Low data from a certain timeframe? Just an idea to enhance, would really be useful to me. Thanks for your time and contributions.
