This is a key skill for anyone who wants to become a profitable trader. Clearly theres much more that goes into reading charts than just what is here but this is the key foundations of reading how price works and how to make trade entries with a good chance of profitability.

thank you trading view is awesome the trading view community my hats off to you master traders helping us newbies, yesterday there was a massive bear trap in other words they rigged the market... but if this trading view community's wouldnt have send the sos sign alot of us would have lost so much money thank you guys

Hey bro, thank you for this video. Just a note on how you drew out the price direction using trendlines at the beginning, I think you may get the same effect by switching to a line chart instead of candles. Might also be useful to do your analysis on line charts first regardless of your overall strategy in order to reduce some of the noise. Cheers for the video :)

The aim of using the trend line is to simplify the trend, and map multiple candles direction. With a line chart you would still experience the noise as the line chart reacts to each candle close.

Its still important to keep the detail of the candles when entering a trade however.
